Appearance
The medium brown wrapper has very little vein on the surface. The couple that are present are very small and thin. The seams are tight. The cigar has a very light oil sheen.
Aroma
Earthy with some hay and dried fruit on the wrapper. Foot is completely closed by excess wrapper folded over.
Prelight Draw
Earthy cedar, blk licorice, hay and a hint of spice.
1st
The initial draws bring earth and wood together. A few draws later the spice joins and begins to develop. The draw is just right. The burn is a bit uneven. The ash is light gray and mostly tight. The burn has fully self corrected. Nice leather notes join the profile.
2nd
The earth, cedar, warm cinnamon spice & leather are all present and well balanced to start the 2nd/3rd. The draw even opened up a tick. The burn is still spot on. It has a nice long finish with the warm cinnamon lasting the longest. The cigar has very good smoke production. Strength is at medium+. Light coffee notes join the profile.
Final/3rd
Nice smooth bready notes join the profile. Strength is at the low end of med/full.
