GTO Cigars Pain Killer Maduro Toro 4/19/15

Appearance
A chocolate brown wrapper a little mottled. There are a couple prominent veins. The seams are fairly tight. It has a nice oily sheen.

Aroma
Earthy and chocolatey on the wrapper. Earthy with molasses at the foot.

Prelight Draw
Molasses and earth

1st
First puffs are earthy. The ash is tight and almost white. The molasses comes in right after the earthy notes. Just past 1"in a hint of spice is detected. The spice grows from a hint to a mild Paprika. The cocoa powder notes are a nice addition to the spice. It's a very smooth smoking cigar to this point.  The draw and burn have been spot on so far. Late in this third some espresso notes join the mix.

2nd
Just into the 2nd/3rd the espresso notes become a little more prominent. The spice seems to vacillate from strong to mild as other notes enter the mix. The ash has become a light gray and a little flaky. Midway thru the 2nd I'm picking up notes of nuts which coupled with the spice reminds me of roasted nuts. The strength of the cigar started out a low medium but has progressed nicely to a medium+ late in the 2nd/3rd. Plenty of smoke output on puffs and between.

Final/3rd
Noticing some dried fruit notes initially. The finish has notes of espresso, spice, nuts and dried fruit. The spice ramps up to a cayenne pepper range. The draw & burn have continued to be perfect with no corrections or re lights needed.
