Archetype Dreamstate Toro 7/30/17

Appearance
A veiny light brown colored wrapper with tight seams. The wrapper has a light oil sheen. The filler bunch is well packed with no soft spots.

Aroma
Cedar on the wrapper. Hay, cedar, faint dried fruit at the foot.

Prelight Draw
Dried fruit, cedar, hay and a mild spice.

1st
Initial draws reveal notes of hay, cedar and dried fruit all well balanced. About 3/4" in the spice notes join the profile. The ash is light gray and mostly tight. Draw is a tick snug. Burn is almost perfect. Strength starts out mild. Ash dropped at a 1/2" before the 2nd.

2nd
Smoke production is at the low end of medium. Draw has loosened up. Burn is still spot on. The spice is like nutmeg. Flavor remains consistent through the 2nd/3rd.

Final/3rd
Midway in the final/3rd the strength moves to medium. Flavor profile remains consistent through to the nub.

Overall
The Archetype Dreamstate Toro provides an enjoyable smoking experience. A consistent profile with nice flavor. The final 2/3's had perfect burn and draw.
Thanks again to Ventura Cigars @VenturaCigarCo for the samples for review and Rachel for facilitating.
