Maya Selva Flor De Selva Robusto 6/21/15

Appearance
The wrapper is very light brown almost tan color. Seams are tight. It has a few prominent veins. The cigar has very little sheen.

Aroma
Light barnyard notes w/sweetness

Prelight Draw
First thing I notice is the tang or citrus notes. Then creamy notes w/ a mild spice on the lips.

1st
The first draws bring notes of cream and white pepper. The draw initially is a bit snug. Burn line almost perfect. The ash is a medium gray and is holding firm and tight. The smoke is leaving my palate a bit dry. Noticing a flavor that I don't taste much in cigars but it reminds me of toasted marshmallow, dry but sweet on the finish.

2nd
Thus far I would say this cigar has been mild in strength. Just into the 2nd/3rd the strength picks up a little to mild/medium. I just ashed for the first time at about the 1/2 way point of the cigar. The flavor profile has stayed the same albeit a little more creamy and spicy(not a bad thing). The wrapper has developed a few cracks but I do live in Az and the lack of humidity could b contributing to the cracking. The strength has leveled out at medium late in the 2nd. Most of the sweetness has faded while the spice(paprika) has become dominant which I enjoy.

Final/3rd
The strength has moved to med+. Spice is the only discernible note at this point albeit not a bad thing. Although a bit light for my normal strength preference it was an enjoyable before Brkfst smoke. The draw(once it opened up) and burn were spot on thru to the nub. This cigar may b just right for a lot of smokers. Definitely worth trying. Thanks again to @gabealvarez_ of Maya Selva Cigars for the samples for review.
