GTO Cigars Torpedo Doble Capas 7/12/15

Appearance
Barber Pole. Several prominent veins. Seams are fairly tight. Seems to be a little oil sheen on the Maduro portion but not the Connecticut leaf.

Aroma
Barnyardy on the wrapper. Barnyardy with a hint of sweetness at the foot.

Prelight Draw
Cedar with that hint of sweetness.

1st
Initial draws are a bit snug. Noticing some spice on the lips first then on the palate. Strength is on the mild side of medium to start. Ash is medium gray and flaky. Has a bit of uneven burn to start but we'll see if it corrects. So far cedar, cream & spice are the flavors. The spice is of the Pimenton(Spanish Paprika) variety.

2nd
Burn issues continue into 2nd/3rd. The Maduro wrapper is slower burning than the rest of the cigar. The Maduro portion of the ash is tight while the Conn. Portion is flaky. Getting some cashew notes about halfway thru. Draw still a bit snug at end of 2nd.

Final/3rd
The previous flavors continue into final/3rd. Draw has loosened up now with the burn doing good as well. Setting the draw and burn issues aside, this was a pleasant cigar. I will definitely smoke it again.
Thank you Oscar for the cigars for review.
