Appearance
The wrapper is a dark chocolatey color with a couple of prominent veins. The seams are tight and nearly invisible. Their is a nice oily sheen.
Aroma
The wrapper has an earthy aroma while the foot smells earthy but also sweet.
Prelight Draw
Citrus tang is the 1st thing that hits you. Then a hint of raisin and some spice.
1st
Initial puffs bring chocolate notes to mind. While the draw starts a bit snug due to the semi closed foot, once past the shoulder it opens right up. The tangy citrus note from the prelight is present at this point and also lingers on the finish. There is also a sweetness like caramel on the finish. The burn has been near perfect since the start. The spice starts at a hint and builds to a Pimenton(Spanish Paprika) which I personally love in a cigar. The ash which has a red/brown hue to its dark gray color is a bit flaky but is still holding near the end of 1st/3rd. The strength is already a medium+ .
2nd
By this point the spice has evolved to a crushed red pepper. After ashing part way into this 3rd I notice a tunnel but it has no adverse effect on the draw or the burn. The strength has become med/full. A nice herbal note has joined the mix. The cigar has a creamy smoothness. The spice has tapered off some bringing roasted cashew notes to the forefront.
Final/3rd
The CRP spice has returned but melds nicely with the rest of the flavors. The finish was long and flavorful. Definitely a complex med/full strength and full flavor cigar. It provided an outstanding smoking experience. Wait 4 It! Wait 4 It! BOOM!™ The MBombay Corojo Oscuro Perfecto gets The Chairmans BUY Signal™!! GoGetchasome™!! I'll b keeping these in my humi! U should too!
