Appearance
Medium brown in color with a couple of prominent veins. Slightly mottled. Seams are tight. There is a light oil sheen on the wrapper.
Aroma
The wrapper has a very unusual aroma. The foot has a nice sweet aroma.
Prelight Draw
There is a faint note of licorice and a tangy citrus note with spice undertones.
1st
Initial draws bring the spice to the surface. Being a triple Ligero we expect that. Draw is effortless. Burn is not perfect but close. Lots of smoke output. The tangy citrus has moved to an undertone. The ash is charcoal grey and fairly tight. There are some wood and coffee notes at the end of the 1st/3rd.
2nd
The flavors from the 1st/3rd carry over into the 2nd.
Final/3rd
More of the same flavors. The cigar was very consistent from start to finish with great spice notes. Thanks again to Rob @TheSmokersHut for the samples for review. Definitely something you should try at a nice price point.
