Appearance
Light brown wrapper almost Colorado colored with 1 prominent vein. The seams are tight. There is a nice oil sheen. It has a tight small pigtail cap. Also it has about a 1/2" of exposed binder & filler. Not to b confused with a shaggy foot.
Aroma
Barnyard & light leather on the wrapper. Candy and spice at the foot.
Prelight Draw
Floral notes with sweetness mixed in with a faint citrus note.
1st
The binder & filler burn evenly and taste very smooth & earthy. Upon reaching the wrapper the spice note kicks in. It's a mild Allspice at this point. Draw is a bit snug but I'm certain it will free up. The burn line is spot on to this point. Just coming into some meaty notes (well done. Tho I prefer med/rareš). The tangy citrus is still present and I enjoy how it cleans the palate. The ash is charcoal colored and fairly tight. The cigar is a medium strength at this point.
2nd
The strength ramps up to med/full to begin this 3rd.
The smooth earthy flavor w/citrus & spice notes remain consistent. The smoke volume expelled on each puff is considerable. The strength just quickly dropped off to medium. A creamy nutty note(cashews) arrives at this point. The spice had tapered off with the strength change, but works its way back to blend w/the nuts to bring a roasted cashew flavor. The citrus is still present but less pronounced. The draw is still a bit snug & the burn spot on. The burn got off a bit at the end of this 3rd.
Final/3rd
The strength ramps back up to med/full. The draw remained snug. The burn was off as much as 45 degrees. The complexity that was present in the first half of the cigar became more one dimensional in the second half. Overall it was a very pleasurable smoking experience. Something that U should definitely try.
