Aganorsa Leaf Signature Selection Robusto 3/2/19

 Appearance
A light brown colored wrapper with a few thin veins. The seams are tightly wrapped. There is a very light oil sheen. The filler bunch is well packed with no apparent soft spots.

Aroma
Cedar, earth, light brown sugar and a hint of spice on the wrapper. Earth, cedar, light brown sugar and a distant spice at the foot.

Prelight Draw
Cedar, earth and cinnamon spice

1st
Initial draws bring notes of cedar and spice. The spice is a pinch of cinnamon and a pinch of black pepper, making a nice spice combo. The draw is spot on. The burn is near perfect at 1/2” in. The ash is medium gray and tight. The strength is at medium at midway in the 1st/3rd. There is a very faint sweetness on the finish. Smoke production is at the low range. The ash held firm and straight until removal.

2nd
Burn gets a bit wavy. Upon inspection of the working end I find a small tunnel. By the end of the 2nd/3rd the burn fully self corrected. Earth notes join the profile.

Final/3rd
Strength moves to medium+.
The profile remains consistent right to the nub.

Overall
The Aganorsa Leaf Signature Selection Robusto provides an enjoyable smoking experience. A consistent flavor profile with a perfect draw and mildly erratic burn.
