Daughters Of The Wind Robusto 9/8/19

 Appearance
A medium brown colored wrapper with a red hue and mostly thin veins. The seams are tightly wrapped. It has a nice oily sheen. The filler bunch is well packed with no apparent soft spots.

Aroma
Cedar, hay and spice on the wrapper. Closed foot.

Prelight Draw
Cedar, black licorice, raisin, hay and spice.

1st
The initial draws bring notes of cedar and cheap coffee. The draw is a tick snug. The burn is erratic but is already self correcting. The ash is medium gray and stacked. The strength is mild/med. The bitterness of the cheap coffee notes has disappeared leaving a cedar, almond and spice profile. The ash holds firm and straight until removal.

2nd
The draw is now effortless. The smoke production is at the medium range. Medium roast coffee notes join the profile. The finish is long with notes of cedar, almond, coffee and warm cinnamon spice. Strength is at medium.

Final/3rd
The profile remains unchanged well into the final/3rd. The profile remains consistent right to the nub.

Overall
The Daughters Of The Wind Robusto provides an enjoyable smoking experience. A nice profile with an effortless draw and erratic burn.
Thanks again to brother Steve @bigbucky24 for the cigar.
