Jas Sum Kral Toothpick 2.0 Maduro Robusto 11/17/19

Appearance
A dark chocolate colored wrapper with a bit of mottling and a couple of prominent veins. The seams are tightly wrapped. There is a nice oily sheen. The filler bunch is well packed with no apparent soft spots.

Aroma
Earth, cocoa powder and cedar on the wrapper. Chocolate, earth and cedar at the foot.

Prelight Draw
Earth, dried fruit, licorice, cocoa powder and bakers chocolate.

1st
The initial draws bring notes of earth and cedar. The draw is effortless. The ash is light gray, stacked and flaky. A very faint spice joins the profile. Strength is at medium. Smoke production is at the high end of medium range. The burn is wavy. The ash had to be removed early as it was looking very suspect.

2nd
The flavor profile is very well balanced and rich. Smoke production is at the high range now, with smoke billowing off the cigar in between draws. Cocoa powder notes are more evident on the finish but are noticeable on each draw as well. The finish is long with notes of earth, cedar, cocoa powder, bakers chocolate and cinnamon spice.

Final/3rd
The flavorful profile moves unchanged into the final/3rd. The profile remains consistent right to the nub.

Overall
The Jas Sum Kral Toothpick 2.0 Maduro Robusto provides an enjoyable smoking experience. A well balanced and flavorful profile with an effortless draw and mildly erratic burn.
